Church website design

A welcome that starts
before Sunday.

Your website is often someone’s first introduction to your church. Make it feel like your community: authentic, approachable, and clear about how to take the next step.

Less searching.
More belonging.

A first-time visitor wants to know when to arrive, where to go, and what the experience will be like. A member might need this week’s message, a group to join, or a way to volunteer. Those are different journeys, and a thoughtful church website makes room for both.

We help organize your church’s story around the people using the site. Real photography, useful information, and an intentional visual direction create a digital welcome that carries your identity from the homepage to the ministry pages.

Thoughtful details.
Meaningful next steps.

Website design and development shaped around your church.

A first visit, made easier.

Bring service times, directions, parking details, children’s information, and what to expect into a clear visitor journey. Keep the essentials easy to find on a phone.

Your community’s character.

Use your church’s own photography, language, beliefs, and visual identity. Help people get to know your congregation through an experience that feels personal.

A place for every next step.

Organize ministries, groups, serving opportunities, and events so visitors can find relevant information and understand how to get involved.

Messages and connections.

Connect your existing sermon library, livestream, giving platform, calendar, or church management tools. We scope the integrations around the systems your team already uses.

A foundation for local discovery.

Build clear page titles, descriptive content, service information, and links around your church’s real location. Support the people looking for a church in Springfield or your own community.

Built for the people updating it.

Set up repeatable page styles and manageable content sections for staff and volunteers. Provide training and agree on a practical approach to keeping the site current.

Local roots. Personal partnerships.

Based in Springfield.
Built around your mission.

Zion Creative is an independent studio based in Springfield, Illinois. Our Koke Mill Church project brings a local congregation’s people, mission, and next steps into a custom Squarespace website.

Whether your church serves Central Illinois or another community, the website should reflect where you actually gather and who you serve. We plan the content, design, mobile experience, and technical search foundation together.

A few things to know before we get started.

Have another question? Get in touch
Do you build custom church websites on Squarespace?

Yes. Koke Mill Church and Evangel are examples of our Squarespace work. We can create a custom visual experience on the platform while keeping day-to-day content manageable for your team. We discuss the platform and scope before the project begins.

Can you connect sermons, livestreams, giving, and church software?

We can connect supported embeds and links from the tools your church uses. We review each provider’s capabilities, subscription requirements, and mobile experience before confirming the integration. Custom connections are scoped separately.

Can staff or volunteers update the website?

Yes. We plan the content around the people who will maintain it and provide recorded training for the agreed platform. Ongoing website care is available if you would prefer support after launch.

How much does a church website cost?

Our custom Squarespace website packages start at $2,500. Page count, content preparation, and integrations affect the final scope. AI-built website hosting and care starts at $75 per month, with an initial build quoted separately. Visit our pricing page to compare the options.

Do you work with churches outside Springfield?

Yes. We work remotely with churches beyond Springfield and Central Illinois. Your content and local search setup should reflect your actual gathering locations, service times, and community.

What should our church prepare before we start?

Gather your logo, current service details, ministry information, approved beliefs and leadership copy, and photography you have permission to use. We will help identify what to keep, simplify, or develop during planning.
