Identity with a point of view

Chicago
logo & brand design.

Give the brand a visual language people can recognize across formats. We offer logo design and branding for Chicago businesses, with identity systems and selected applications planned around the actual product or service.

A point of view.
Expressed across the whole brand.

The logo is one part of the introduction. Packaging, a product page, presentation materials, or a social post also shapes the way people understand the business. A useful identity system gives those different pieces a shared character.

For a Chicago company launching or refreshing its brand, we review the audience, visual references, and practical applications before presenting concepts. The project can connect a focused identity with the supporting creative needed to put it to work.

Thoughtful details.
Meaningful next steps.

A useful identity system, from the first impression to the details your team uses every day.

Identity with room to express itself.

Develop the agreed logo family, supporting graphics, color, and typography. Consider the balance between a recognizable core and flexibility across formats.

Think beyond the flat logo.

Review relevant applications such as product labels, packaging, digital pages, or presentation layouts. Scope production artwork around the specifications supplied.

Art direction that belongs to the brand.

Plan the role of imagery and supporting visual assets. Photography, illustration, and application design are agreed as deliverables rather than assumed to be included.

Applications that make it real.

Test the direction on the materials your business actually needs. Menus, business cards, packaging, and social layouts are scoped around your priorities.

Guidance your team can use.

Provide an agreed set of logo files and brand guidelines, explaining color, spacing, and appropriate use so future materials stay consistent.

A coordinated introduction.

Plan how the identity will appear across your website and customer touchpoints. Additional rollout design can be included in the scope.

Independent studio. Direct collaboration.

A personal design process.
A useful final system.

Chicago’s business community includes independent companies, creative teams, and food and product brands. We focus on the work our portfolio can substantiate: brand identity, packaging and creative, custom website experiences, and Webflow or Shopify development.

Our studio is based in Springfield, Illinois, and collaborates remotely with Chicago teams. You work directly with the person shaping the project, with clear ownership of design, development, content, and approvals.

Good questions

Chicago branding
questions.

A few things to know before we get started.

Have another question? Get in touch
Can branding and packaging be part of the same project?

Yes. We can scope identity development and selected packaging applications together. Product copy, claims, dielines, legal review, and production requirements must be supplied or approved by the responsible team before artwork is released.

Do you design just a logo or a complete brand identity?

We can scope either. A logo project focuses on the mark and agreed variations; a fuller identity adds typography, color, supporting graphics, guidelines, and selected applications. We recommend the scope after reviewing where the brand needs to work.

What happens if we already have an established identity?

We review the recognition you want to preserve and the problems you need to solve. The work can be a careful refresh or a new direction, with the agreed concepts and revision rounds defined in the proposal.

How much does logo and branding work cost?

The fee depends on strategy, deliverables, applications, and revisions. We provide a written scope and quote before beginning. Font licensing, trademark advice, printing, and fabrication are separate unless specifically included.

Can you apply the identity to our website and marketing?

Yes. Website design, social templates, packaging, print materials, and rollout creative can be included or scoped as a later phase. We define the deliverables so the identity and applications stay connected.

Where is your studio based, and how do we work together from Chicago?
